In Acting Like A Forger, a Dragnet Story, Detective Joe Friday and his partner look for a person cheating landlords with phony checks. The hottest lead is a down and out actor, but it turns out he’s dead!
In Always Room At The Top, we meet Helen Brandt, an aspiring advertising artist who interviews with Jean Thornton, the chief artist of a premier advertising agency. She is given the chief’s job when Thornton jumps out the window of her 35th story office!
