In Drive-In Restaurant, we meet two hard working waitresses, Millie & Ruth. It is late on a rainy night & Millie is looking forward to catching a bus home at the end of her shift. An impatient customer offers Millie a ride to the bus stop & Ruth kindly agrees to cover the end of their work shift. Millie tries to not panic when the car she is riding in doesn’t pull over at her bus stop but continues driving into the dark & lonely night!
In Dark Journey we meet two close friends, Ann & Alice. Alice is concerned with the strangely intense, long-distance love affair her friend Ann is having with Mr. Clyde Dexter. After the two friends travel all the way to New York City to meet with Clyde, they are more than a little surprised that Clyde seems to be avoiding Ann. As Alice tries to comfort Ann, she’s shocked to hear Ann say that she has a secret mental power that can help her hold onto Clyde!
