The Kit Kat Klub performers that this show is so well known for work with the Master of Ceremonies commenting on the dark cloud of National Socialism that is engulfing 1930s Germany. The drama is told through three parallel story lines: the younger couple denying reality (Fraulein Sally Bowles and the novelist Cliff Bradshaw); an endearing older couple whose love was denied (Fraulein Schneider & Herr Schultz); and the Master of Ceremonies performing at the Kit Kat Klub.
